September 2007
Thanks for stopping by the Line Level
Music site. It’s been quite a year for
the folks here at world headquarters.
Coming off the release of Michael
Stanley’s cover tunes album,
The Farrago Sessions, we were
proud to announce the release of two
amazing albums; Marc Lee Shannon’s
Any Ordinary Man and Grant
Spark’s Burn The Afternoon.
If you haven’t checked these two out we
urge you to do so. Great music from two
fantastic musicians!
Michael Stanley’s latest album,
The Soft Addictions, has
just been released and the initial
reaction has been fantastic! Help us out
and spread the word! Also, word has it
that Michael is already hard at work on
the next one. Unbelievable!
The Line Level staff is all smiles as we
are proud to announce the signing of
former MSB and current
Resonator keyboardist and
songwriter, Bob Pelander. Anyone
familiar with MSB is well aware
of Bob’s amazing talent and we look
forward to releasing his first solo
album, a collection of amazing
instrumental pieces, early next year.
Also, we are proud to finally hook up
with original MSB member Jonah
Koslen to release The Best of
Jonah Koslen & Breathless, which
will include a comprehensive look back
at the music of this woefully underrated
band plus several unreleased live bonus
tracks! Hopefully this will be out for
the holidays. And, if we all get lucky,
there is even the possibility of a new
Jonah Koslen solo album in the not so
distant future. Keep your fingers
crossed!
We are also negotiating with the powers
that be to attain the rights to
re-release Michael Stanley’s
Eighteen Down and the
legendary Ghost Poets only
outing.
And, as if that wasn’t enough work for
folks our age, we are in the process of
compiling a new DVD release,
Michael Stanley’s Bootleg Videos,
which will consist of previously
unavailable live performances and
backstage antics from 1974 to the
present!
Well, that’s about it for now. Thank you
all for your support and feedback and
here’s hoping that the music has worked
its’ magic on you!
Peace… The Line Level Staff
